Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Claims leaders

It seems the new style CSL’s have been extremely under qualified “yes” types only. Not skilled or Knowledgeable leaders at all.
My whole area of the country has noticed this new direction. Are they trying to sink this ship faster???

Unfortunately performance is NOT factored into becoming a CSL or RCL for some unknown reason. The only requirement is that you aren’t rated inconsistent. It’s a very low threshold. The biggest requirement is knowing someone in a senior position. Sucking up is huge in the organization. Distinguishing yourself through extra projects, extra duties, isn’t likely to pay off. You’re just doing more work without being compensated for it.

The anti-"woke " racist is back again on this site. Too bad his privilege will no longer allow his incompetent self to be promoted past his skills like in the "good old days".

Many of the qualified, experienced CSLs that were great leaders retired end of 2021. Too tired of 12 hour days, back to back complaint calls (auto delays, total loss cluster f..., unreturned calls from adjusters who were constantly underwater due to volume and rental issues due to previously mentioned issues) that consumed them. I was one of those CSLs and admittedly felt guilty leaving my team as I always had their backs and assisted whenever possible. The daily head and stomach aches finally got to me and it was time to go, earlier than planned. I feel for the frontline adjusters, doesn't seem like things are improving.

Sadly they don't have much to choose from. Adjusters here don't have a clue either

My prior RCL would routinely say that a person does not need to know the job to be a leader, they only need to know how to lead people. Obviously, this was reckless to have a person handling a team of lit adjusters with zero rep/lit experience. It only made it more difficult for the adjuster because we had to take the time to explain every little thing to the leader who didnt have a clue.
