This place is really getting comical. I’m here 20 years and have never seen it so bad. Literally ever person I talk to in TAP is looking. (At least in sales). The market is hot…….as soon as someone gets the right opportunity, they are jumping ship. TR salaries are a joke. Meanwhile, they are up our a** about number of appts we have and how many meetings we have. And the nonstop forecasting pressure. NEWSFLASH—the more you hound us, the more BS we will input. So don’t act shocked when the numbers don’t match.

You’re treating professionals who have 10/20/30+ years sales experience like they are sales rookies. There are so many openings being filled by warm bodies, customer experience is going to only get worse. Get off the TR ship while you still can. One recruiter already told me that TR used to look great on a resume. But they know what’s going on here now…..anyone who stays too long will have a “stink” on them. Ouch!

You should always be working on your employability.

I'm a veteran of the corporate industry for four decades. In that time, I have worked for four large and two regional corporations. I had no issues finding a new job at any point in my life because I followed three simple rules:

  • The first one is to always look for a new job, whether you're planning to leave or not.
  • The second is to make sure your skills remain up to date.
  • And finally, rely on networking and make sure to contact people who could help you in the future even when you don't need anything from them.

Keep those in mind and you should have no issues moving to a new job or position when you feel it's time.

Everyone's incensed about getting Partially Achieved ratings or low salaries in general, so they keep coming up with little fringe benefits to temporarily mollify employees. Tell me how many people could tell their boss with a straight face that gramps died and they're taking 10 days off.

Not just TAP. The environment throughout is abusive. TREC is also creating horrible headaches in the name of dodging taxes. The new CEO has made the company into an environment where nobody is proud to work any longer.
