Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Help yourselves, don't wait for the company to help you

You have been with DXC for several years, you most likely earn below market value, you are giving it your all, and you are still here despite not getting a pay increase since you started. Management now knows full well that if any of that was a deal-breaker, you'd be gone by now. They have no reason to change your situation for the better. Unless you complain, stop giving it your all, keep asking for a raise, or walk out, nothing will change for you. This is on you.

Doesn’t matter how old you are, doing as little as possible while employed at DXC is the only way because they don’t care about you at all, you should give them the same. If you put a lot of time and effort you are only sabotaging yourself because at the end of the day you are a liability to management. -from a former manager who got the f out.

So true, its on all of us who stay! But complaining to people managers that have no power for change will get you nowhere. Complain to higher up's will just get you fired with no severance, only real choice is to leave.

If you are under 50, you should find a new job as quick as you can. But don't jump just to jump. Do research, talk to other employee's, check the layoff.com wait till you find something better, not perfect but better.

There is no loyalty anymore, you can jump to a new job anytime.

If your over 55, think do you really want to work 60 -70 hours a week, do you want to be on call 24 by 7. Do u want only 2 - 5 weeks vacation?

If in your around the mid 60, stay put. do as little as possible, collect your 401K match, Unlimited vacation almost, take your sick time and DON'T work more than 40 hours.
