Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Did anyone else enjoy putting in 54% of effort into their work today?

Good luck getting more than 54% work load off me now (and yes, I'm NOW actively looking at other companies).

Need to coordinate a day where we all call in sick / don't log on.

Planning my 54% day. Read loads of email and IMs, dial into the endless back to back WebEx. Welp, looks like I'm done. There's your 54% Ford. Oh and good luck trying to fast track all the EV work you are trying to pull forward after you $crewed over a majority of the people you depend on to do the work.

I'm looking for work elsewhere. This company is trapping people in positions without allowing movement and overworking them, then do nothing for them.

Where’s the EQUITY they have all been preaching about? Where’s the racial
Equity director in all this? Oh yeah, collecting her 100k bonus. I better not hear any preaching about equity anytime soon

In all my meetings and conversations after that sh## show Kumar 10+.. or whatever they call it. That was the prevailing opinion. 54% is the new standard, and they can do the rest themselves since they think they are worth 135%. Mouths shut, slow down, and let them flail.
