Thread regarding USAA layoffs

The biggest reason to leave?

I'm debating leaving or staying a little longer. It is not an easy decision. Still, there are fewer and fewer reasons for me to stay here, and more and more to leave.

If you aren’t happy, leave. Unhappy employees create disengagement and it starts to breed across teams. This starts to impact the overall effectiveness of the organization. No talent or skillset is needed enough.

You aren’t doing yourself or the members any favors.

As the others stated, it’s an open market. As someone who is doing plenty of hiring, I don’t agree that you’ll get paid materially more. But you’ll get change & at a rate that is competitive to what you’re making today.

No one should come to work unhappy.

With that being said. Come back to the office. Get back to being social again. Traffic and gas prices suck, but that connection makes a difference.

Find new or more mentors - outside of your organization. Ppl in HR and IT can provide insight and a lot of creativity and motivation.

Just my 2cents.

Compliance is like trying to connect dots for a living.

As the other person said compliance affected everything. But I would also add salary. You can get paid more elsewhere most likely and use your skills.
