Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Never good enough

I have never heard management say something good about us. They’re just thinking how they can squeeze us even more, but, rarely does a manager really see how hard people work here. They don't see it because they don't want to see it. Yet they are always ready to criticize, they are always ready to say “we can do better” and the like. Of course I can do better, but in a different company!

Just leave you won't get anywhere here. I'm sorry you manager sucks so bad but all the good managers are currently leaving or already have quit. Good luck if you were my team member I'd give your a great reference letter....He-l I'd email you one even to help you leave. Apply at target better money, less work.

I used to work for CVS as a store manager. Instead of getting recognized for working all those hours when Covid hit in 2020 (didn’t call out, didn’t use any of the Covid hours like a bunch of employees did), I got a “your store could have produced better numbers” from my DL while he sat in the comfort of his home or office. He never mentioned how I willingly helped out any store that needed help, and produced a 4.9 MSH number for the year. That pat on the back never came. Always looking at the negative. All of them. Happy I left after 11 years.

I'm still waiting for the pat on the back for adding $150k to my store's bottom line in 2020 when COVID hit.
