We’re still at Hoffman Estates trying to maintain sanity as the Managers still push sales and forgo repairs.
3 techs in Wisconsin quit because of the lies Managers push to hire them. A part runner quit also because they don’t pay enough. A few more techs I know personally are leaving next week because they really can’t stand it here anymore and I’m about to quit next month for Diamond.
Too much BS from Managers and especially 1 that like fairy dust, along with the unknowns of the company.
We don’t even have a HR that we could talk with directly, outsourced. But what’s really telling, MANAGERS DONT WANT US TO TALK WITH HR FOR ANYTHING, COME TO THEM FIRST!
The entire company is one big WTF!

I agree. The situation with contract tech is pretty insane. There are no checks and balances for them. Years back, I pointed out how one of them was going out and ordering every single moving part on every single call he ran. Literally every single call he went on, the whole thing was ordered and sent. Then when I started asking customers about it, they would tell me the one or two parts that were actually replaced. That I know of, they still use that guy and he's still ordering every single part of every machine he goes out on.
It's just sad the way they wont train their own techs and rely on a bunch of parts changers to run service calls.
I receive same recruiting email Thinking it was a scam I deleted it. It had no bodies name just a return email and a city name I didn't know a\e was working out of. How Delusional is a\e thinking any sane human being would voluntarily return to that Hot Mess. I guess thay don't have a hundred people standing in line for my job as I was told.
A&E Factory Services is converting employees to Loss Prevention. Now you may ask yourself, how can repairmen become asset protectors? They go to customer sites for repairs and work. That’s precisely the point.
A&E Factory Services is changing up the business model, to become the Asset/Loss Prevention for customers. It’s not security, but rather keeping an eye at the customer’s request. It’s a gray area that has the opportunity to become the Uber of ad-hoc monitoring.
@1pzo+1fZd2bVB the outsourcing happened for a reason. probably entirely too much stuff replaced rather than repaired. but the contract techs are just as bad, if not worse. it doesn't benefit a contract tech to do it right and nobody wants to train A/E techs. most of them lack basic diagnostic abilities.
A&E are reaching out to techs that quit, resigned or retire to comeback with incentives.
Today, Thursday, 2 more Techs quit via Hoffman Estates along with another Part runner about to leave.
It’s a 3 ring circus, all you need is the music.
Director of operations here, guys, please disregard these A&E demise rumours, we are doing great and all my managers got a really big incentive for their outstanding 2021 sales performance.
American - Rumor
UK, Canada, etc. - Rumour
Are you a troll?
Current worker here…
Upper Management will depend on more outside sources for service calls.
Illinois is the lowest incoming revenue in the entire Nation.
Management is the cause for high turnovers
Upper Management ignore the harassment from Managers on technicians
Closing or Buyout is in the Horizon

Lies, all lies. We are getting new trucks and tools for our tech workforce.
Yup,management sucks. They usually don't even make it 6 months before being fired or quitting. They come in new and don't know anything.Just when they start to get the hang of it there gone.New techs quit before even going on the road because they can see how bad it is in training(which the training is a joke.).SELL SELL SELL .Tech Hub gets worse with every new update. The routing system(not the routers) is beyond bad.The parts & truck stock situation is not getting better. The trucks are all 6-7 years old and have 200.000 miles plus on them. They continually break and we don't have enough for the guys we have and they are trying to hire more people. In the latest town hall video upper management even says they are going to focus more on outside contractors.Thats why they don't invest any money, they are going to outsource everything.
Nope, that’s a wrap!
Is Bannockburn still a service unit ? It was a _hit show within a hurricane a few years back. I can't imagine what It would be like today.
