Consumers still want an agent. It’s pathetic that this regime can’t get this thing right and get a balance between direct and its captive sales force. In the meantime the ex agents are picking business off from Allstate at an unprecedented rate. Premiums are rising and customers are leaving in droves. However, the premium growth will mitigate the loss of units and households.

Agents have been useless for years. shafting them is one of the only things allstate gets right. just can them.
Agents ate Big Blue is a dying breed. The writing on the wall is when the CCC/direct channel undercuts their own agents.
