Let's talk attendance. I believe that the leads should be over attendance and the managers should be over the leads attendance. The reason for this this is that we have associates that calls out whenever they want and nothing is ever done about it. Once a month the managers brings up the point system but for what reason when you're removing their points now that is pointless. The workers that actually comes to work are being over worked because everyone points are being removed. To be honest I'm a lead and I don't mind working over nor stepping in to help my associates because I do daily but if I'm going to continue that let me get rid of the associates that don't want to work and hire associates that wants to work.

You know what Sam’s needs? They need to bring back PTC or something like it. Having managers and leads do the HR and related stuff in their spare time isn’t working. If they’re worried about them having moment of nothing to do then they can help with the front… Accounting, associate relations, etc.
Lack of consistency and favoritism seems to be the true issue, MSL's points removed while Long Time associates are termed as soon as their points reach 5 regardless of reason, Please be careful of your own points and keep following up to make sure everything is legit.
What responsibility do managers have? None at my club. Unless you count standing around together playing on facebook as a responsibility. If they accidentally have their radios on you can watch them turn them off when you call them for help.
I agree with this post. Consistency is a must and know one has to be a manager to voice there opinion. So, let me guess you're one of the ones that calls out a lot.
The only issue here is CONSISTENCY!! Nothing else.
If you really want to be over attendance then go into management. Let me guess you don’t want all the responsibility only bits and pieces.
