Anthem Data Breach

Remember the Anthem Data Breach? Well it just got me. My data was on the dark web and my identity was used last week to open a new bank account. So now I have to become an identity theft expert to ward off the effects of Anthem’s pathetic data security policies. My SSN was NOT masked in the day breach.

Pretty sure it was the Anthem breach because my SSN was used to open a bank account. I don’t have my SSN on my phone or computers, and I never use public WiFi. I know for a fact that my SSN was unmasked in the Anthem data breach. For some reason, that database didn’t mask the SSN at the time the breach happened.

Not saying that it wasn't, because it quite possibly could have been, but how do you know that it was due to the Anthem breach? That was quite a bit ago now and this stuff happens all of the time. There's one crew in my local area that's getting into the accounts of people by accessing their wifi despite security. They can actually see your key log once they're in.

You really should think about freezing your credit before it happens again. All it takes is visiting each of the 3 major credit reporting company sites, mailing them, or making a simple phone call to each.
