It has become common knowledge that Centene has a bad culture and mostly incompetent management and leadership. I've heard several people say they had no intention of applying for those exact reasons. That's one of the reasons we're having trouble backfilling positions. Nobody wants to work here because they've heard plenty of horror stories about us. If that isn't incentive enough to make some changes, I don't know what is.

I think the size of the company correlates pretty well with how employees are treated. Too big to fail and all that. Although there are companies of all sizes that treat employees terribly. It’s a societal problem too.
They need to stop laying off people, that's one thing they can't run from. Quit working the people that are left, like dogs.
I agree wholeheartedly. Once our plan was acquired by Centene it literally went down the drain. Hopefully with the new CEO we see some changes. Doubt it but hopefully.
