How is it, a department layoff 4 people from one department HR claiming an overlay in positions throughout the company, then turn around and post one of those very same positions on centene website! Anyone else was laid off only to find out their position was available?

If your performance review was “partially meets” you’re on the layoff list and they will post your position. Happened to me.
They did that on my team a few years ago and got around the law by reposting the position in another state.
Definitely personal! NEVER go to HR for anything EVER thinking they’ll be on your side, EVEN WHEN THEIR LEADERSHIP IS WRONG! That open door policy cr-p is BS! I went to HR on a supervisor after I was disrespected THREE times! EVEN when leadership is wrong, HR will defend them! Once the company decided to layoff, leadership came together and retaliated! Claiming my position and the few others were being eliminated. Yet, the position is now open! This is one shady company, and leadership gets away with it! From the time I went to HR I was hated, I became a target and retaliated against! Leadership hearing they had to layoff, was music to their ears! But in the end, they did me a favor!!
@wsx+1fV2PM5w Yes! I believe it was because some people were laid off for personal reasons. (And the massive layoff was used as an excuse)Then soon after, that leadership was gone. I was apart off the layoff last year and came back to another department. It was all personal bs. I learned the hard way, going to HR will get you out the door.
I know a couple who were laid off during the big layoff last year, only to be re hired back a couple months later to the same position.
Yep! I was laid off in 2020 as my position was supposedly eliminated yet my exact position was posted weeks later. HORRIBLE COMPANY
