Thread regarding Gulfstream Aerospace layoffs

The future of this company

The future for this company looks pretty dismal. I can't imagine myself here for a long time, nor am I optimistic that it will get any better here in the coming years. Where is Gulfstream going?

Interesting post “caught red handed under paying special mission employees” under paying as compared to whom? Back pay for what ? Do tell and spill the “T”.

Inquiring minds want to know

How can you ever trust a company that has been caught red handed underpaying employees working special missions? HR wouldn’t even give us a copy of the power point they presented of the merriment letting us know they got caught and that we’d be getting back pay. Gulfstream is corrupt, period.

Ask AA or your HR Business Partner. They are here to help you and all employees.

Only those who decline to scramble up the career ladder are interesting as human beings. Nothing is more boring than a man with a career.

A cr-p load of dedicated employees were let go at the beginning of the pandemic. I bled for this company, put my loyalty, professionalism and sweat ahead of everything, even I’m ashamed to say, in front of family time. I could let no milestone be unmet on time and no requirement unmet. I salvaged failing, poorly conceptualized designs supplied by inept vendors. The problem was the company had zero respect for my dedication. When I was called to be given my job back as a highly skilled person three months after getting laid off, it gave me immense pleasure to tell this unethical, immoral disgusting employer where to put their job offer. I hope it cost them a bloody fortune to replace me, on top of my severance.

I see LinkedIn posting stating they are looking for “dedicated” employees. How
Many dedicated employees did they get rid of May 2020?

Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to submit that last response, please ignore. With AA as the leader of HR and MB steering the ship, I have no doubt that GAC will not only maintain it's market leader position but extend the lead tremendously. COVID and the great resignation was hard on most companies and GAC is no exception. I'm truly grateful to work for a company that cares so much about its employees with such a great HR department and forward thinking leadership. Nowhere to go but UP from here. The sky isn't even the limit here!!! I'm sure we will be competing with Branson, Musk and Bezos in the space race before long!!! To Infinity and Beyond!!! is where this company is going and I'm blessed to be a part of it.
