I see plenty of positive posts about working at Aetna but my experience has been the total opposite. Since I started two years ago I had to deal with a toxic work environment and unfriendly coworkers who see us as a threat and don't even try to hide their antagonism. Pay is okay, I'll give it that, but it doesn't compensate for all the other failings. I wish I had it as good as some of you claim to have it.

you are talking about the west san fernando valley branch.
I was there a few years back when they were also in the old location before they went to the new one. I think they are worried about layoffs, however they didn't even bother trying to apply to the anthem which is located in the new building where they are. They could easily just switch jobs because I knew at that time, they were seeking employees to fill a bunch of positions. They were doing the same type of work but were just lazy and didn't want to lose whatever small compensation they would receive by staying at the same place.
I would file a complaint here.
They will need to hear from more of us before they do anything.
Hopefully they don't take this down.
One important thing you need to do however, the very first thing, is to
just change the address of the place. I know they moved the facility a few years ago
and it still has the same old address and it will list that if you just click on the city or area. Please change it to the new place, then put in your complaint and send it. Otherwise, they will think you are speaking about the former place that is no longer there. They will not be looking at the right place, if the old place is still there.
Also, I would mention the california state law that forbids this. I would look that up.
