Mattel is just another company that supervises its employees all day long to make sure they don't work a minute less than 40 hours. However, when an employee has to work longer, Mattel pretends not to see it. These double standards frustrate me the most.

you work in private, you whiny millenial baby. grow a pair and work. it’s called adulting.
Please OP, shut your crybaby mouth. You're salaried, not an hourly worker who's entitled to overtime and when there are bonuses if you excel at what you do (guessing you don't if you're whining like a newborn) then you get a nice bonus and cost of life increase. Last year I got 30k as a bonus and that was overperforming while working from home and getting on calls with HK at midnight our time. nut up and excel wu-s.
You mean Mattel EXPECTS you to think of this s**ho-e as a career?? Who do they think they are? Management?! Hahaha! Get used to the micromanaging. Mattel management are the queens at it. Bellyaching haven’t heard that one in one aught 65’! Keep them coming ladies!
So glad I left Mattel. I'm working from home like many of you. I'm working 40+ hours most weeks, but I have the flexibility to walk my dogs in the middle of the day, run errands, take kids to appointments, etc. Some weeks I work fewer than 30 hours.
Ultimately, my manager doesn't care how many hours I work each week, as long as my work is getting done on time.
stop your bellyaching. you work in a private industry and you’re not unionized. you get a salary and if you have to work overtime, guess what? boohoo. that’s why you get bonuses and cost of living increases. unless you’re terrible at your job.
I'm SURE you and everyone have been working an honest 40+ hours at home for 2 years.
I'm CERTAIN of it.
Absolutely certain.
No doubt in my mind.
