Thread regarding CVS layoffs

You Must Love The Drama

All I read here and on Reditt is how horrible this company is and how unmanageable the job is. You ARE 100% correct on both accounts. But what I can’t understand is why you all put up with it. It’s either you like the abuse, or you love the drama. I can’t figure it out. This company poops on their managers and pharmacist and treats everyone so horribly and yet here you are complaining on this site essentially preaching to the choir. NO one disputes your complaints. CVS IS a horrible place to work. Why put up with it? Why are you still here? Are you taking next steps to get out? If not what are you waiting for? It’s not going to get better. You’ve been hoping for relief through CEO, President, DVP, RD and realignment change after change. Has it improved yet?

You are all better than this. You all deserve better. Don’t let these mofos ruin you much longer. A wise RD told me before he got out of this dumpster fire. If you don’t believe in what you’re doing, you probably shouldn’t do it anymore. I left this week. I have not felt a better sense of relief and calm in years!

I have some final quotes that helped fuel the fires of determination within

Trying to do good with methods that involve force lead to bad results - Milton Friedman

The road to he-l is paved with good intentions

The most harm of all is done when power is in the hands of people who are absolutely persuaded by the purity of their intentions

Decisions are being made by people who pay no price for being wrong - Thomas Sowell

Please.
For your sake and for the sake of your family.
Get out.

You must not read too good (purposeful poor grammar so you can understand better)

Pretty clear

You must be a RX licensed DL who doesn’t know how to read reports

I left and have found my "happy" again !
I'm not the only one who has left my area and have found their "happy". It is up to you ! What's your "happy" ?
What's funny is that when I mention that I retired to other companies managers the first thing they say is "would you like to come work for me ?" They're looking for seasoned workers everywhere- you can write your own ticket ! So, why stay ?

And here we go with negative reactions. I guess it’s hard to accept that the only thing standing in between you and happiness is YOU.
