What happened to the Mandate?

Any 30 day vacations for anyone?

In Canada there is no federal or provincial vax mandates. Government officials have come right out and said it was only a recommendation.

I love my job and coworkers. I hate Ford Motor Company. Most of me coworkers think this way now. The company will be losing a lot of sales because of this. I need a new truck and will be looking at a GMC in the summer.

Sure GM had mandates but they didn’t force them on me.

Keep pushing back. These corporations are facing ghostings all across the country. They hold zero power now, and will not fire people.

Evidently you don't have to report that you haven't gotten the shots for them to grant you an accommodation, finally down to them just wanting to check off boxes so they can let this be forgotten about without having to explicitly say they aren't going to enforce it.

First response is on, I finally got a second follow up call from HR where there may be unpaid leave, and it possibly could lead to termination, and if that were to happen that the termination could be seen as a "quit". After that it was practically begging for them to be allowed to check off the "accommodation granted" box by giving them any reasonable excuse. Still holding tight on not reporting a status, but told them my medical choices are my own and that it is immoral for any employer or anyone else to force someone into taking shots for any purpose. May be enough in this new time of desperation to say that everyone has gotten the shots... or permission not to as long as it'll keep the sweet, sweet government grant money coming in.

The company WILL not survive the lawsuits. They've painted themselves into a corner. Stick with the ridiculous mandate, and get sued. Get rid of the mandate, and get sued. They get sued either way.
Not smart.

Ford of Canada sent an email out today.

They moved the "must be vaxed" deadline from March 28 to May 2nd.

There is a lot of people that only got vaxed to keep their jobs and they are pi---d. Many of are so pi---d off at the company that they have openly said that they won't be working nearly as hard as they once did.

If people starting getting real sick or dying in the future, because of the vax, the company may not survive the lawsuits.

They have delayed the implementation date several times. Ford HR can’t make a decision. Now, they are changing the religious accommodation to include pretty much anything. The religious accommodation no longer focuses on typically “religious” objections. It can include any personal conviction you have. They hope everyone will fill it out. That way they can say they meet the Federal Government contractor mandate without letting people go. I’m sure there’s lots of free Biden EV money is involved.

The real question is, why would you stay?

Ford is now the WORST place to work. It’s a sinking ship with weak, incapable leadership and terrible employee morale. They have nothing of value to offer anyone. Do yourself a favor and get a better job. I did.

And I'll huff and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house in.

Those that refused to report, file for an exemption, and get the shot were the brick house.

The rest.....hay and sticks.
