Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

The forward game

Don't say "its not my job", play the foward game and send/forward and email on to someone else.
If everyone who recieves teh email plays the same game, there will be loads of forwarded emails all giving the impression that everyone is trying their very best to help (when no-one is really).

Its a really fun game to see how far it will go, and each time your email pings with you on CC, you'll have a little laugh to yourself how pathetic DXC is

My high score is seeing 6 passes - until the original poster gave up and then ludicrously thanked everybody on the mail chain "for trying".

Try and beat it.

I'm sorry, but this needed to be in its own thread. I'm definitely doing this from now on. Thanks, @3ynl+1fHuQSoe!

If you forward emails advising who can help, and at the same time you CC some senior managers, you are showing everyone you're a boss type. You also demean the recipient as being you "goto" Bayatch.

Do it often enough, and everyone will start accepting you are the senior guy in the room. So the next time you see this happening in your email tray, forward the email and make sure its not you picking up the "delivery" tab.

After all , if you do the work, all you end up doing is showing senior managers that you are the minion.

Some could say touchy fmU and it's a free world for punters to create posts. If you don't like it don't visit and make some tea instead.

Do what DXC management does when things get difficult just don't respond to emails, don't answer questions. Good to see M2 is still reading this site hiding behind anonymity. Every time I escalate a problem to my manager all I get back is an email telling me what I need to do. Identify a problem and you get to own it, try to solve it yourself and eventually you will be criticized for not fixing it.

We're all frustrated at the lack of interest from management in operational/delivery issues (they're very interested in financially engineering their bonuses of course). Save everyone's time and just don't respond.

Even when I worked there back at the beginning, for a brief spell, this was DXC's Moda Operandi anyway.
