Backroom associates, do you get a key to the compactor so you can keep up on the daily throws? At our club only managers and team leads can open the compactor which means that the garbage just piles up back there since the leads and management are "too busy" to come and open it. This includes stinky bloody chicken juice bags and rotten merchandise. It's disgusting. Just wondering how it is at other clubs.

I’m a Backroom Associate. We have keys to doors and compactor. We have them the whole shift. Then turn them in. Two sets.
I remember the days of needing the trash compactor open or the roll up vendor door needing to be opened for a member load up and ONLY A MANAGER OR TEAM LEAD COULD OPEN THEM. Now, it’s anyone BUT manager or team lead. Need a pallet of water loaded for a member? It’s whomever can drive a forklift that is now authorized to have a key to the HUGE BACK DOOR where anything can be taken out. Ridiculous!
I have keys to the back and I’m merchandiser.
I’m a back room associate. We all have keys and also do far more than our fair share. But at my club TOO MANY people have keys to the building. No key control at all
I’m a back room associate and we have keys to compactor and all the doors. We also have to submit almost all service channel work orders. Yep good thing we are considered low pay job code for all the cr-p we have to deal with

Yes. We have keys. And being knocked down from a level 7 to a level 3 we shouldn’t even have keys to the paper towel dispensers. You want the compactor open? Ask a lead or a manager who get paid well enough t do that. Leave Backroom associates alone, We have enough sh-t to do.
Yes we have a key in my club
I am a backroom associate and I have almost always had a key to the compactors we have keys to the compactor as well as all doors and locks in the back
Back room associates have keys to the compactor at my club.
Our club manager and leads are the only ones with keys as well. We are not allowed to leave anything by the compactor. We call them and they come immediately.
I work the sales floor and not the back room so if the garbage piles up not my problem.
