Well high roller with their $2500 VD, I got a $6K VD check and I'm not happy either just like the OP. The only ones happy are the executives and investors that are draining the capital from pioneer that the company will need in a downturn.
On a brighter side, these VD's won't last long. Remember 1M in 10, Drive to Zero and all the other failed/unobtainable ventures? Once the big investors suck the financial life out of the company, they will sell off PXD like it has the plague. This will leave the company with no reserves for the difficult years. The executives have eliminated pioneer's sole and sold it's future finances to the devils, but they will be sitting pretty one day. Sadly, the other 99% of the company will pay the price.
Sounds like someone that doesn’t have much stock. I just received a check for 2500$ while waiting for my RSUs to vest. Explain how this is a bad thing?
