Heard there were some in support services but do not know anyone directly that works there. Anyone have any real info to share?

Heard rumor, and I say RUMOR, that a big thinning of the heard suppose to happen mid April.

Don't share your seasoned knowledge with the scabs. Let them earn it the old way like we had to. Well it's such a simple technology anyone off the street could do it.
Marco Island this year. Yeah, count me in for that. I'm for that. While you folks try to juggle ten things at a time. Then they'll tell you well, maybe you're not very good at multi-tasking....(that was a made up term to trying to tell you you might not be able to be at three things or places at the same time. Let's see them do that too...you'll have to wake them up at Marco Island. Don't go faster either...slow down instead.
The pattern is always the same. Upper management does the dog and pony show, give themselves bonuses and raises, setup boondoggle trips for sales and Upper Management (Marco Island this year). Then tell everyone else no raises for you but here is more work. HR just sent out email trying to get people to share knowledge and collaborate so forth and so on. Skrew em
They are just betting on you being able to add on the additional work. This is just what they're looking for (Just as Frontier did and I'm sure Century Link as well). Don't do it.....call it sabatage perhaps but drag your feet if you have to. Poor performance from the vendors and/or contractors.....company does not care. How much overtime would you care to entertain....until you don't have a life. Yeah, when Frontier told us we had to ask before taking it when needed....you could stuff that. You can ASK ME and politely too and maybe a kiss on my "cheek".
Their last day is April 1st. My manager just advised i will have to absorb additional work becaude of this. He-l, i already work 60+ hours a week to stay above water, and I'm salaried. Such a shame. Lots of really skilled, tenured people. Some of these people have been with the company 20+ years! Another Windstream sc--w up!!!
Elite Care Specialists got it today. Basically no more billing/order support people domestically. Effected people in Hiawatha, Rochester, Greenville, Arab, and Little Rock. All their work is transitioning to the CSMs who are already drowning in work. What a nightmare for the customers, and the overworked people that now have to take on more work, when they can't keep up as it is. Another brilliant move...NOT!
