Seems like the Seagate Longmont building is the only place in Colorado with covid. Nowhere else are we supposed to wear a mask. Most companies like AMD, Lockheed Martin and others have lifted the mask mandate completely and opened their office gyms to employees (No limit on the number of employees, that can be in the gym and be maskless)

Masks are to be worn “out of an abundance of caution” in addition to the vaccine mandate for existing and new employees. Not many companies are holding onto either of these requirements, but at Seagate, these measures are being enforced for your benefit, to help you, the employee. Ever watched those words as they come out of the mouths of the HR and covid emergency team leads? They appear to be euphoric at having these mandates. It’s for your benefit, but it really makes them feel good about themselves. We really should be thanking them for being so thoughtful and caring and keeping us safer at work.

It's a giant virtue signal. Paper masks stop a virus about as well as a chain link fence stops sand. It's always been non-science BS. It's just a blankie to make you feel safer. This is now the official opinion of the CDC before all you Karen's hit the thumbs down. I love to see guys with big beards wearing them as if it seals resting on that thing! LOL! If the vaccine works and prevents any serious illness from it then why are we still wearing them again? It's complete nonsense. Your eyes are sitting there exposed to the air folks. Doctors wear them to stop much larger bacteria infections NOT tiny airborne viruses! Seagate wants to be able to say they were extra super cautious and get points for it's political correct score tally. At the same time the company wants us all to start coming into the office and meeting in person more. There's nobody smart enough to put 2 and 2 together and figure out that people will come in more if they don't have to wear masks all day and look and act like a paranoid freak. Well, at least those who are not so mentally damaged by all the fear po-n that they will voluntarily wear the paper mask for life regardless. Sadly, there's a lot of them that will. I know many and nothing I say will convince them to stop wearing it.
