I resigned a few months ago. I know how this will sound, but I make considerably more money and have an amazing work environment. When I tell co-workers about having to keep my mouse moving to show that I'm working, the dress code enforcers, and having to clock in and out (on the minute). Management that manages by fear and intimidation. HR is useless. My point, there is hope. LEAVE. Everyone is hiring. Get your live back!

Where do people work in nursing / case management/health coaching now that is a better company and does not require you to go to people's homes? Looking for a different company.
They want you to quit so they don't have to give you unemployment or pay severance. Stay and take the company down from the inside.
That cracked me up about changing the fonts on the powerpoint for the next pre-meeting! I have never seen so many Directors, Sr. Directors, VPs and Sr. VPs (hundreds of them!) spend so much time (and money, if you multiply the hours spent times their salary) putting together 100+ page slide decks with corporate-speak garbage and SLAs and metrics that no one cares about and will never read again after the 6 hour meeting is over. Maybe spend that time thinking about why your best people are leaving instead? Or why you keep dumping time and money into 30+ year old adjudication systems that are ki----g the quality you claim to want to achieve? Or why you keep buying up companies that are doing it better than you, only to throw away their people, processes and systems and drag them down to your level, instead of, I dunno, maybe listening to why they were so successful and emulating them instead? It's all lunacy.
So true about the VPs and everyone trying to justify their high level position by acting like they know more than you (even if it’s about the appropriate font on a PowerPoint) when it’s more likely they’ve been elevated due to a relationship/anything other than merit. Centene is such a sad place to be.
Hoping to follow in those footsteps.
But I enjoy micro-management by matrix layouts with various Business Units VPs barking orders on how to change the fonts on the powerpoint for the next pre-meeting.
