Given all of the political unrest globally and the impact on our businesses, please considering increasing your HIPAC contribution rate. It is more important now than ever before that we have a voice with all elected officials.

Was harassed every year by a VP, and once by an ALT member. They assign individuals to call or meet with you and explain why you should be contributing, per PP I saw once in an ALT member's staff meeting. Never contributed a penny. They never RIF'd or elbowed me because I got results, though I know it was held against me. Ultimately left on my own terms. What a racket.
I never worked for a company more harassing about HIPAC than Honeywell. Honestly it boarderlines illegal.
As soon as I got into band 4, the HIPAC harassment started. I said no and was pretty outspoken that a company of their size and profitability had no business hitting up its employees for 'contributions'. Not long after, I made the RIF list, despite being consistently in the 'correct' blocks-o-the-nine. Not happy right then, but SO MUCH happier 5-6 years later, in every way. Better job, better benefits, better company, better industry, etc etc etc.
What’s funny is they want us to contribute a percentage of our salary to HIPAC, when the max legal yearly contribution is $5000 I think. That’s like .0001 % of executive salaries. BUT! You could win some AirPods.
HIPAC can pound sand. My money won't be used to convince the words that DA needs more $500 bottles of wine.
@igw, your argument is hollow because HON hasn't had a superior product in over a decade.
The machine only cares about itself. It will do whatever is needed to feed the machine. Nothing is beyond the reach of the machine.
Give in to HIPAC. Your feeding the machine. You are afraid of what the machine may do? Machine wins. Machine always win.

Look at that.. at least on poster on this site can be corroborated with second source.
They lost me the day they wanted to give hillary 64k for a meeting in a hotel room.
Look it up in DNC emails.
Want my money? I want your books. Every trip, pina colada, and bribe.
A PAC is the delivery boy for legal corruption.
Want my money? Try paying employees BEFORE politicians.
PS .. I am a member contributing 1 dollar a year. Learned that my yearly review was impacted if i didnt help my boss meet their goals....hmmm...retaliation for not contributing to a political cause? Cant possibly be...that would be i l l e g a l.
Consider contributing to those politicians who best represent your views. PACs and dark money are insidious.
I am a proponent of democracy and am against the corrupting influence of corporate PACs and super PACs, so I won’t contribute. I would vote to ban the PACs given the opportunity.
LOL. I have always wondered which kind of person puts these types of posts out. The typical thought is a Honeywell supporter (as can be seen by the tenor of the replies they typically get). However, I've always thought it more likely that they are posted by a Honeywell detractor, in the hopes of seeing and enjoying the certain outrage to come. This one, however, seems succinctly aligned to Honeywell's position concerning HIPAC, so maybe it was actually posted by a supporter. I vote supporter posted this one...
Move money from stock buybacks to marketing before you bother employees to pay for your business expenses.
Your decision, but lobbyists decide contract winners. I'm sure most of you have seen Hon lose out to competitors when Hon had the superior product. That is due to lobbying. And while we may not benefit directly from contract wins we do get a large benefit in the form of better job security via more work to be done.
Also note you can sign up to have Hon donate an equivalent amount to the charities of you choice, so others benefit as well.
@ldc, true, those guys are the only ones who benefit from industry advantages, so they should be the ones to fund the lobbies.
How about the C-suite members dig a little deeper into their millions to fill the gap?
Go Away HR troll
