Well, I figured that the likely hood of them taking inflation into consideration was slim; however, I would have hoped that the increases was a few points more this year considering how well Centene noted to have done.
Boy was I wrong and disgusted. There is no way I person w/ 15 years of experience, a graduate degree, and has been working for the company for over 5 years, should be making less than 60k!
My department was told that raises would keep in mind inflation... What a damn lie! Centene will lie to their employees over and over. Inflation is at 8%, highest it's been in 40 yrs, wtf is 2.5% going to do to help me?? Keeping inflation in mind to me says 6% raise to help offset inflation. It makes me sick to know this company brought in 132 billion dollars from all of our work, which was more then the estimated projection of 116 Billion, and they can't help elevate the financial and mental stress we are under by giving us proper raises to help with cost of living?! Bonus was a joke too. Less then a regular paycheck. Wow Centene, I thought that you would be better to your employees, no wonder so many are leaving. Every department has lost 3/4 people in the last month or so. I think this is the straw for me. I bust my bu-t, 45/50 hrs a week and get told I need to do more, for what? not for a 2.5% raise.....Updating my resume tonight and will be using my PTO to do interviews and relax.... Good luck everyone.
@3bcv+1fKvz9c8 if your manager & director is fair and base it on performance, then this would be the case. However, the majority reward their unproductive favorites, and the productive, hard workers are screwed (which is why those people should look elsewhere where they will be appreciated, if they haven't left already).
Another factor is how much budget is given to the team for raises & bonuses - the smaller the team the bigger %.
@3bcv+1fKvz9c8 This only stands true if you are treated fairly.
Remember these are pay for performance. Do a good job, get a good rating during the goal review process, and get a larger bonus/raise.
Oh gee thanks for the 50cent raise.
Bonus 1.5 percent
Raise 2.5 percent
After 8 years of service..
- 25% & 6% Bonus
Oh he-l!!! I was about applaud this ridiculous company for once! SMH!!!
I meant two and a half. The formatting on this website sucks.
- 5, not 5.
Wow @5% increase- what’s your job title? W/o giving too much information!!
Prepare for disappointment.
Not enough. 3% raise. The bonus was embarrassing and made me sick to my stomach. Last bonus I received was from WellCare (Meridian legacy) employee so was not eligible last year. Anyway WellCare bonus was the most I ever received, it was nice. This bonus is nothing compared. Real initiative to start looking for a new job.
- 5% raise here in IL. Still waiting on bonus information
Raises and bonus maybe?
