This company let me go at a time that was critical in my career, professionally, personally and financially. All these new and existing employees do not think this can happen to them. I didn’t either. I was successful my entire career with Allstate. It is a sad situation. I wish you all well.

In 2020 when the layoffs happened, the job market was NOT up and running as of yet.. get your facts straight. Restaurants etc in many states were still closed.
And to find a similar paying job that Allstate paid (which is a joke - but at least higher than minimum wage), would have taken folks time.
I didn’t get laid off, I got out shortly after though and went to a competitor.. but you must be senior leadership to be so insensitive and lacking compassion and empathy lol
I have news for you, your job isn’t safe either.. eventually Habib overseas will oversee all the new reps there too. Cutting the fat of middle management has been needing to happen anyways.
Sh-t happens.
If you were part of the big layoff in 2020, at least you got some notice and likely some severance. Same can't be said for many.
Lucky for you we've had the best job market in decades since, so no real excuse to be that upset.
Performance, tenure, loyalty to the company all doesn't mean jack sh** to the vile pieces of garbage running this company. I have become a do the minimum to be left alone, take their money every two weeks, and pray for a severance down the road. I felt valued and respected my first 8 years or so but since Glenn Shapiro reared his vile evil head this company has gone straight down the toilet. And there is seriously something wrong with having Tom Wilson, who provides absolutely zero worth to this company making $18-20 million a year. If you are gone from this mess then good for you. If you are still here do as little effort as possible, keep sucking up their money, and collect your welfare at the end when they decide to throw us all to the curb...which is coming and I hope it is soon.
This is not a good organization. It hasn’t been since the 1990’s. You don’t lay off thousands of American workers on Thanksgiving only to replace them with off shore non Americans and then, without admitting error, try to hire back on shore American workers because your business is now going down the tubes as a result of your poor decisions and insight . Tom Wilson should be let go and the rest need a huge pay cut. Anyone that is laid off, let go, or quits is better off n the long run. Keep the faith
Never forget you're just a number to the bean counters. I have lost all loyalty over the course of my career.
Is this currently or did this happen in 2020?
