When your ceo worries about his next airplane purchase and your head of retail JF worries about his next run on sentence, no program will last. JF comes up with a new program or restructure so he does not get let go. They have to let him see it through. The company is good, the management is not in tune with reality.

Yep. Looking at the T-Mobile careers website and clicking on the "Hometown Experts" links, not a single job shows.

From the 4/7/21 Press Release announcing the Hometown Experts:
During the next two years. T-Mobile plans to hire 2,500 Hometown Experts in 2,500 small towns. The search for Hometown Experts is already underway — the first 1,000 new Hometown Expert job listings have already been posted.

The program didn't even last a year.
