We have in our team an expert with whom it is a real pleasure to work with. And he really stands out because he has some ingenious ideas and suggestions. However, our buzkill manager seems to be trying to get him to leave. What happened to that old Ford that used to value such individuals who are trying to bring some new ideas here?

It's the mediocre who are promoted at Ford. They are dangerous, for they know they can't compete on the job proficiency level. They constantly need to cull potential rivals and deflect blame which makes them very annoying and potentially very dangerous.
The split has pretty much destroyed any creativity or enthusiasm on the ICE side.
