Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

I am waiting for raise announcement

I keep hoping we will get a raise soon, but it looks like we will have to wait a long time for that thanks to the leadership that doesn’t care how their hard working employees live. It's a real shame.

You want a raise a DXC , go climb some steps as thats the only raise you will see.

What to see all the money the EXE and NEO's make https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1688568/000119312521208744/d169870ddef14a.htm#toc169870_155

Any REAL company tells you your raise amount at review time because managers know what you do and are with you all year long. This having to spend weeks on the review process and not hearing about a pay increase or not 3 months after is ridicules!

My wife got an 8% increase last year and an 11% one a few days ago with a 8K bonus too boot at her review. Maybe Mike 2 and Steak cutter 2 should learn how to treat their workers!

Fu-k Mike S and is angry demeaner

The easiest route to a pay rise at DXC is to leave.

It's amazing how much more money you can earn at a better employer.

It's amazing how much more training and development you get from a better employer

It's amazing how much more career development you can get from a better employer

It's amazing how much less stress you have when your employer isn't constantly threatening you with redundancy

I worked for 3 almost 4 years for this crackpot place. Never got a raise, oh wait I did just 3 months before I got my WFR.

Still believe The only reason for giving is to give a person a little more on their unemployment payments.

Greed to the shareholders is all this place concerns itself about.

First, DXC didn't pay competitive wages before the pandemic or during Mike 1's reign. With inflation getting out of control and an overheated job market, it is easier than ever to say "i quit" and get the salary and benefits you want at a different employer while doing the same work. There you have it, DXC now has a problem with reward and incentive.

Second, people don't care about the fancy ideals that DXC roll out. Fancy ideals and empty promises do not pay the monthly bills for employees. Hard cash does. Those who pull their weight and know their worth will simply pack their things and leave for the competitor. There you go, DXC now has a high attrition rate.

Third, declining revenues isn't an employee problem. It's a management problem. Employees aren't suddenly going to start working harder to 'turn around' revenue in the hopes of getting a raise 6 months down the line. That's not looking at the situation critically. What's more, the remaining employees watch as executives fatten themselves up with stock options while the former only get the scraps. There you go, DXC now has a (partially) alienated workforce.

This is the reality that Turps, Mike 2, and his colleagues do not realize, let alone acknowledge. This is the reality of what the remaining workforce will have to deal with. Now you're back to square one: Mike 1's shadow is still present, and it is dominating the company. Good grief, it's like I'm watching a live rendition of Orwell's Animal Farm.

a good company , like the one my wife works for. The executives after layoffs took no pay increases, no stock options, no toning till the rank and file could get decent raises.

Last year she got $1,000 USD for costs for working from home. 6% pay increase and this year a 11% increase. DXC executives don't give a sh-t about us. it's not people 1st that's for sure

I can't believe another clanger by Steve Turps.

Lots of questions asked about pay rises and inflation. He replied we don't have control over inflation so we can do anything about it.

What a silly answer, thinks everyone is thick.

You do have control over pay, and that's what's people are asking for. Whose asking if you have control over inflation.

He then said we in the Same boat and everyone has to row together.

So are the execs going to get pay rises of 300 euros only?

The Great Leader was very clear on the recent townhalls that folk had been rewarded already and they should stop asking about money.

Besides, if they give money to the rank and file employees there's less for the executive bonus pools and payouts to the executives is the most important thing.
