REVCOGS = sales, but RDE = dough rising in the back room. Cut that off for too long, and you're re-creating the Bendix-King disaster.
Forgot how nasty this building is. The toilets stop up all the time, leak, the floors are gross. This building is awful.
Doesn't take free cereal and a smoothie bar....but jeez, get the bathrooms clean and working. This is gross.
Oh no....what does DC or DA have to say about this.....what about the collision of thoughts in the office. Like that really happens anyway. When all decisions are made by MM, why both coming to the office at all. Gotta come in so MM can tell everyone how d-mb they are and how his Costco analogies are so genius, and everyone just needs to follow him, only no one ever does.

You had CONTRACTS that employees built their life around and you reneged and cancelled without warning. Then your managers had to mouth apologies and try to keep the businesses running as you hunted down any remaining remote workers.

REVCOGS: Revenue, Cost of Goods Sold. It's derived from financial terms- basically a financial category for work (your labor hours, or materials purchased) to fulfill a contract where the company gets paid for those costs by someone other than Honeywell. Most federal contracts are REVCOGS, and some commercial ones are where the customer has agreed to pay for the engineering work.
Why does Honeywell do the "move RDE folks to REVCOGS" thing? When they project low on profit, they look for ways to improve it. RDE takes away from profit directly (basically dollar for dollar), while REVCOGS usually assures some additional profit and never takes away from profit.
And yes, you are right, they didn't plan it well when that happens.
I was told by clearwater mgr to get back in office every day (engineer).
People are jockeying for work as everyone talks how short staffed they are but in reality there are no charge numbers. RDE is forbidden, REVCOG only.. i dont even know what REVCOG means. Feels like musical chairs. So many procts i've been on were suddenly stopped. This place is run by ... well you get it. I dont need to spell it out.
