Starting Friday, March 4, Ford facilities that are located in areas with a green or yellow status will no longer be required to wear masks while indoors

Been mask free since fall 2020 - moved to a locality that did not require it and work from home. Entire work group is remote and never going back to an office (work under the EC skill area). Would be very, very difficult anyway, since every new hire added since 2020 has been remotely working; 90% of them that were hired did not live in Michigan. Someone asked (for fun, I suppose) some of them and those that did not live in Michigan made it clear they were not going to relocate.
I was/am lucky enough to work on a team that is not going back to the office and I could move out of Michigan (perfect storm - on the right team at the right time, plus wife literally lost her business during the 2020 lockdowns) so it was do we stay or do we go kind of decision. We chose starting over - which was very hard on myself (was born and raised in Michigan, though the first couple of years out of collage I did relocate for a job with another company), my wife and our daughter, but it has turned out to be OK. If Ford ever changes its mind regarding my area, then I'll just retire and move on. While moving is hard and I don't recommend it for everyone, I wonder why more did not do this either in 2020 or last year.

March forth all ye soldiers and sheep back to the Ford open space offices, patronize restaurants, shops and venues that the Ford family owns/ or are landlords for / have business arrangements with. Come prepared in full body armor with your knives sharpened , as the backstabbing crowd has been itching for face to face combat for two years now. Let the games begin.

Bill won’t leave the company, it funnels money to other family business ventures and then there are the stock trading opportunities. The company is hamstrung by Ford family restrictions, which benefit the Ford family. For instance being SE Michigan centric business, when every solid business consultant has told Ford leadership - if you want to compete go to where the talent pool resides/wants to reside. Note that by solid business consultant we are not talking about the ones that are paid to regurgitate what Ford leadership tells them ( for example Hatchet and BCG).

All companies instructed to push the shot narrative, and instruct the public that 90% of everyone within the company was shot up. Then magically, it disappears around the same time.
It was the greatest game of eff you very much, and thank you for playing. Makes you wonder if a participant, why the MAD rush to get them into arms, what IS in it, and why would the narrative suddenly disappear in a blink of an eye. That is something scary to think about, if anyone put this stuff into their bodies.
Let's play pandemic for 2 years exactly and then midterms are coming and we'll drop this cr-p.
