Well, it seems that MetLife is now running special shuttle services for New Yorker's.

Is this to help people avoid the subway?

Maybe Met management does read this board.

If I get mugged next week you better believe I'll let the press know the only reason I was on the subway was because Met forced me.

The Guardian Angels are still active and this article mentions the worst subway lines.

A "u" is also missing. Try this link:

I think two of the "-"'s in the link should be "ce".

Golly. Do we put this down to mental health issues?

Oh, here's the link:

https://nypost.com/2022/03/13/nypd-15-year-old-stabbed-on-subway-platform-in-manhattan/

The story is light on details as NYPost articles tend to be. Still they get credit for reporting this.

On March 13 a 15 year old was attacked in a Manhattan station.

Manhattan.

Some of the post are being deleted.

I don't think any of my violated the posted rules, unless you count the suggestion about Krav Maga as condoning violence. (I don't!)

Actually, a Krav Mega practitioner will do almost anything to avoid a fight. So, I don't condone violence. Try to avoid confrontation, but if it comes, you should be ready.

Perhaps Met is "requesting" that things be removed because it shows the reality of returning to the office. It is not good.

Bezos wants to keep his workforce.

Keep your eyes open and stay safe out there!

Wow and Jeff Bezos has an open disdain for his workforce. What does that say about Michel Khalaf?

This says quite a bit, "Last week, Amazon announced it would relocate 1,800 workers from its downtown offices over fears for their safety."

Amazon is putting worker "well-being" first.

Well this subway stuff apparently hit a nerve at corporate because YES, it does affect return to work in NYC, and YES, it is a real thing that is happening every. single. day.

Here's yet another SENSELESS crime. Someone throwing an older woman down the stairs. And, it's not enough to throw her down one flight. He has to go down each flight and throw her down the next flight.

What is wrong with people?

That comparison was so distasteful. Also was using the last 15 minutes of a 90 minute call to basically say nothing new about the RTO.

My jaw dropped when he said it. Every one of our colleagues in Ukraine should be deeply offended. I wonder how long it took for the comment to spread through the EMEA WhatsApp groups.

Wtf was Michel thinking trying compare work commutes to bombings in Ukraine. Taking advantage of a fu----g war to give an example of why we should go to the office and make that "sacrsfuce"

What a tone deaf cu-t he is. So distasteful on so many levels.

Put on your big boy pants and tell us you expect us in the office without being such a pu--y and hiding behind a war example. What a God damn spineless, clueless pu--y if a ceo. He should be embarrassed, but he's probably too stupid to even realize that.

I'm ready to conclude that management DOES read this board.

Did you hear Michel mention the subway? He said something like when you are worried about taking the subway you should consider the people in Ukraine who are going into the subways to protect themselves from bo--s!

Seriously?

Why would the EG care that people keep getting stabbed on the subway? They drive into the city. Back to the salt mines, plebs!
