These MFers are so f***king greedy. I’m at a loss for words. After being let go last year without warning or any issues — they are now (a year later) fighting the unemployment I claimed for a measles two months. Greed greed and more greed.

Why is no one talking about recent RIF? My last day will be April 29 after 13.5 years this is the thanks I get after working OT without pay to complete my assignment on time. I trained majority of the staff on our team and only 2 years away from retirement.
If you end up on a RIF list, get it in writing…. Unemployable will dismiss their. Liam immediately
If this scenario is like the rest of the denials, Anthem claims the FTE quit on their own and were not riffed, denying the unemployment claim. IBM and other large companies have used similar tactics. Corporate greed as usual......

Yeah @6wyr+1f8PjZmp I just turned it off after 15 minutes. I was just thinking the absurdity of it all. Here I am working from Thursday to Thursday worried about is this the week they’re going to get me? Having panic attacks in the d*** grocery store because the cost of food has skyrocketed but my paycheck has barely budged in 3 years. We are not alike.
We had a meeting the other day where the upper level muckety mucks “introduced” themselves. We were regaled with tales of “glacier trekking in Patagonia” and “taking the boat out from my cabin on the lake”. Eff them straight to he-l.
Anthem sucks. Make more money and do less work somewhere else.

Anthem has been fighting unemployment claims against FTEs they riffed for years now. I didn't realize they were waiting so long in some cases to do it. Those I know that fought the denial ended up winning their unemployment. Just a bunch of blood suck__g dirt bags with no appreciation for the people that worked tons of overtime, forfeiting health and time with family, to make the company successful. It is just like the healthcare claims they deny just to see if they can get away with it, hoping someone is too sick to fight it.
And with an additional billion in profit this year.
