Honeywell 4th Quarter Results

https://www.marketwatch.com/story/honeywell-stock-sinks-after-profit-tops-expectations-but-revenue-and-full-year-outlook-miss-2022-02-03?siteid=yhoof2

Interesting article on HON's 4th quarter results. Aerospace sales topped expectations, while building technologies, safety and productivity solutions and performance materials and technologies sales all missed. HON opened this morning DOWN around 5.5% or about $11.40/share as of 9:50 am EST.

@2itf+1f7HTgdN It's a different date each year because the third Thursday of January does not have the same date every year.

They give you the stock at the best possible time for them. IRS requires them to do it, IF they do it by end of January. HW monitors the market and stock price to saves millions. That's why its a different date each year. Always looking out for the machine.

If you didn't move it out of stock, you've already lost some of your match.

they gave us the 401k match when the stock was at the peak before it started to drop

They lie. They got rid of 350 employees for not being vaccinated. They didn't have religious or medical exemptions.

80% up first and second shift. Work overtime to cover third shift. Because they do not have enough people to run the line, this is how you got your numbers.

I would expect the whole company is run this way. Our office people are short staffed too.

I would expect the whole company to be run like this. This is how they make the numbers. On the back of their employees. The upper management never loses their bonuses. They're incentives. They never even get laid off.

So if they want 8% increase on profits, I will bet. Everyone will be short staffed. I'm in the process of finding a new job. There's life outside of Honeywell. Honeywell is not going to be 100% my life. Number one reason why they don't like me. I'm out of here.

Also we lost two contracts. One was a big one. So when I hear about record profits, they used to have quarterly meetings. Meetings. They keep us all out of the loop. You can't trust these lying son of a b**.

The mask excuse is hilarious. Don’t know which genius camp up with that, but that sounds an alarm to me.

And they blamed Q4 decline on lower mask demand!!! LOL
That revenue from mask must be minuscule. Really digging deep into our bag of excuses now
Next quarter, blame the winter weather, great resignation, just about everyone else but Honeywell itself

How can there be supply chain issues when DA said Honeywell is a software company?

@gth: There's a Facebook group for ex-Honeywell folks at the link that's showing pictures of the old Tempe 1207 building demolition progress among other topics. The group is named "Honeywell Aerospace Friends".

They said they expect 8% growth, does this mean more layoffs to make up the numbers?
