I think that those who have a bigger skillset and more talent think they are safer here. It is quite certain that this company no longer wants talented people. If it were otherwise, Refinitiv would do its best to keep them. Do you agree? It's a little sad what's going on here now.

I've never worked for a company that valued long term employees worse than USB. There is almost hatred directed at SMEs and long-term people. If you are a long-term person, you are going to work a lot of hours, be drowning in work, and be paid very little. Your boss will do nothing but criticize. Management is almost excited when experienced people leave. They get to replace a 20+ year vet with a fresh trainee.
Fresh trainees are stupid if they stay here more than two years. Just look at the long-term employees around you. Do you really want to end up in their shoes? Unlikely.
Totally and then they will wonder why there is no one left with in depth product knowledge
So very much on point whoever you are. Bravo couldn’t say it any better. Could you PLEASE be the CEO. Simple common sense is missing across most global organisations these days.
My impression regarding international corporations in general is that their endgoal seem to be being able to hire people with no qualifications or skills. The idea (as it seems to me) is to hire people, teach them precisely what they need to do at a specific position and in the long run that will be cheaper than hiring specialists even after you take into account the long training period.
