The funny thing about the line "don't like it leave to another company" is that it sounds similar to "don't support BLM, you are a bigot."

It's the same liberal tactic you see, offer a dissenting opinion they try to silence you.

Discussions are built on understanding each other, something people refuse to do nowadays bc it takes work and a brain.

Not sure the reason you got 6.5 increase last year but less this year. I got 3 rate, never got better rate due to a bad manager. But my raise is 3.8 and they told me just citi average because they do not want me to feel good. The highest raise I got was 8 percent but manager then told me I m not important at all. Not sure what s more imporatant , raise or rate. And company spent more money but manager tried to beat down motivation

Citi is so out of touch. They hinge on the cult mentality of company loyalty but don’t want to compensate for it, so people leave..
If the money is available after someone puts in notice.
It was available before they put in a notice.
Want to keep your best people? Pay them.

Last years raise was 6.5%. This year I was rated higher and received 2.5%.

As another poster commented on suits. I’m sure these guys got huge bonuses, you know for giving away 400 million to the wrong company last year.

I always thought it was funny when they give you a high ranking but minimal raise.
Supposedly if you rank an “x” you’re locked into at least “whatever” percentage of a raise, clearly not for all groups.

You’re ranked a 1, you get 1.5%, sorry no money in the budget.
You’re ranked a 2, you get 1.5%, sorry no money in the budget.
Etc….
