Do they actually do anything? Or it’s all for show? Has anyone made a report on there and what happened?

It can actually anonymous and you don’t have to provide your name or employee number if you don’t want to.
Former AST Supervisor here. Not sure what, if anything, is done from the team when you contact them. However I do know they contact the store manager and or Sales Manager involved to tell them exactly what was reported. AND it’s NOT anonymous (only AP hotline reporting is anonymous) so be prepared to speak with someone at the store level about your issue. I had a fabulous Store Manager, employees felt comfortable expressing concerns because they knew already they would be fairly addressed and corrected. I’ve also had Store Managers who did absolutely nothing even after it was taken above them and they were contacted about it. Nothing happened to anyone if it wasn’t addressed & resolved. Either way it depends on the store’s leadership because they will be informed and instructed to speak with whomever called. Hope this helps.
