Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

FY22 Year-End performance development activities – feedback leads to growth!

More bull sh-t, goals that you can't reach because the company is doing so poorly.
Personal Goals that you really can't make as you don't know the direction your department is going.

DXC pushing cloud while having us accounts purchase out of date physical hardware, either were a cloud services company or were not. Senior management make up your mind.

Hopefully more chaps will get pay increases to match the inflation rate, but don’t hold your breath.

More moving jobs from the UK and US to India. If the UK and US people aren’t making money, there will be no one to purchase goods and services in the UK and US. Wake up senior management, we run circles around most (not all) off shore resources.

Yes, I should just leave, I got that. But 3 years or less away from retirement and really don’t want to start all over again.

To whoever said "So basically, you're saying that no matter what garbage DXC throws at you, you'll take it."

Since I am not doing too much work as you can tell from the time I am posting on this site. Why not milk it. It's payback time for all the 60 , 70 , 80+ hour work weeks I did in the past. , If it gets too bad will all the bull cr-p or a lot more work then I retire.

I have 5+ times my salary in investments with 1 year saved in cash already without my 3 pensions from other companies I have worked B4 DXC and Social Security of about 3K a month when I reach retirement age of 65.

I am lucky I planned for retirement ahead of time. But why leave when I get cheaper health insurance, Pretax 401K with a company match and with COVID one can't really travel.

To "That's a miserable way to spend three years." I said 3 years or Less, the keyword here is "or" :)

Yep, I decided against that route. Managed to get TUPE'd to a company that was going to make me redundant. A smidgen earlier than I planned. I don't miss DXC one iota, but I do miss some of the people that made the work tolerable.

You say that you're three years from retirement and don't want to start all over again.

So basically, you're saying that no matter what garbage DXC throws at you, you'll take it.

That's a miserable way to spend three years.
