Did people get let go for no vaccine?

At the end of last year, there was a bunch of stir about having to be fully vax or an approved exemption or your gonna be put on leave of absence. Did that ever happen to folks? Just asking because I was fully vaccinated and still got pretty sick. So to me, if a vac person can still catch and transmit then whats the point to mandate it? I'm not saying people shouldn't get vaccinated, just doesn't make sense to mandate something in a hopes to prevent the spread when it still spreads.....and again I am not anti-vax, just pondering on the obvious questionable mandate.

@4lqx+1f1dUSBS Keep drinking Fauci's Kool-Aid. Your hysterics are the fault of the unvaccinated!

No one has been let go bc they have not been vaccinated. The federal contractor requirement is in the courts right now and I assume TR is waiting for that to resolve. The requirement for vaccines for large companies got overturned at the Sct level but they kept the requirement for hospitals that receive federal money. So it could go either way on the one still in the court system.
For those saying vaccines don’t work - if you were vaccinated and not in the hospital then you can thank the vaccine. Not everyone has the same immunity levels so be kind to your fellow people who need the vaccines to ensure they don’t die.

Vaccines work. If you are vaccinated you are nearly guaranteed to avoid ending up in the hospital or dying from Covid. That is simply not the case for the unvaccinated. Educate yourself, especially if you work for TR (Reuters News people). The id--t who keeps posting it is the unvaccinated people’s fault as a joke, this is actually the truth. If those of you feeding on and sharing misinformation would wake up and get vaccinated and boosted, we would be in much better shape. Do better for yourself, family, those you care about, society.

Sounds like no one knows. Vaccines aren’t working anyways. I know I’m done with them. They will never say if they did

I don't know anyone. But I do know someone who applied for an "exemption," and it was granted (for pretty vague reasons).

I don’t know if anybody. But l think only a small percentage were not vaccinated so we probably would have a hard time knowing. Who knows, they could have been part of those who were let go last year. The timing was there.

So did anyone get let go/put on leave of absence or not?
No one has answered that yet.

Wow, instead of censor the whole post, they left the HR troll post. I guess its the fault of the unvaccinated.

The mandate is required because they're a federal government contractor (separate from the mandate for businesses). They have to comply with the mandate around federal contractors to follow the law.
