Anyone know how many people are being let go due to being unvaccinated? And, is it for sure ALL unvaccinated? I imagine there are people at all levels of Centene that don't want to get vaccinated. I think today is the day for the layoff.

no severance was given as it was not a lay off it was termination. I also got no bonus. I did however get unemployment in a blue state. My religious and medical requests were denied - others in same dept were approved. Made no sense.
1/27 was my last day. No severence no bonus. My religious exemption was denied but others were approved. It's disgusting. I worked from home two years. Now I just keep in touch with coworkers to hear how it's all a mess... At least I get that satisfaction. All new people there getting paid low and no one knows how to do the jobs. Just bodies of ignorance.
I have a colleague who got a religious exemption and Is not being laid off. Thankfully.
Not true, I know ppl from FL that got laid off bc they are not vaccinated
First they came for the unvaccinated and I did not speak out because I was vaccinated.
Then they came for the smokers and I did not speak out because I was not a smoker.
Then they came for the political dissident and I did not speak out because my politics aligned with the corporations.
Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me.
- F&%$ you Centene
Unvaccinated in CA were laid off too. I know several. They will get their 2021 bonus but I don't know if they got a severance.
Post ID: @3mdp+1f1VgCMd Centene deals with Federal and State (Medicare, Medicaid, Marketplace) governance. In addition they can lay you off for pretty much any reason if it does not comply with their rules of employment. All unvaxed will be let go....count on it.
A significant number of Centene employees were laid off across the organization, except in the states that were not going to recognize the Biden mandate (e.g. TX, FL, KS -- I believe 11 states). Employees in the 11 states received no disciplinary action or termination. There was no severance package. If your medical or religious accommodation request was denied, you need to file an EEOC claim to have it reviewed by a government specialist to ensure you were not discriminated against.
Find out who else in your health plan was terminated and include them in this thread. There might be a class action lawsuit, especially with so many of the vaccine mandates being withdrawn due to not being legal. We just need the CMS mandate to fail to file wrongful discharge lawsuit. However, in the meantime, you need to file EEOC complaint to see if your rights were violated.
The vax layoff was in St. Louis.
@2oxp+1f1VgCMd When did the layoff occur and what state ?
Vaccinated and still layed off. Voiced my concerns about the requirement so maybe that’s why
@1kkk+1f1VgCMd There was no severance
Post ID: @bbc+1f1VgCMd when you were laid off for not being vaccinated did you get a severance package?
I don’t know how many were terminated due to not being vaccinated but I was one of those people and my last day was yesterday.
Please lay me off next month. Give me liberty by giving me a severance!
I thought the FAQ they recently update said in some states they are delaying disciplinary actions due to changes in state laws/regulations. They didn't specify which states.
Now I can't remember if they were delaying it for everyone because of those states or only for employees of those states.
