Gerry, looks like you're getting a LOT of time off soon, buddy! Good job at nuking Ascension Technologies, it was truly a spectacular thing to witness.
I thought it would be okay, because they prayed and the layoffs were VERY hard on them. I mean, when you are making high 6 figures and 7 figures, telling the people making 60-100k to find a new job at Christmas is difficult.
Personally, I absolutely love that I was laid off, in a new company with insanely awesome culture. My uppers actually talk to me, and I regularly hear someone say, lets see what the feels about this before making decisions with a small group.
I never realized how bad things were, till they aren't anymore for me!

Yes, it is very very very stressful outsourcing over 1000 (2000?) jobs. Permanently eliminating over 1000 decent middle class jobs. Replacing over 1000 jobs with people with very little experience to the absolute DELIGHTS of the customers and providers who are so very very very happy with the service now. But the extended partners' stockholders' got richer as did AT leadership, so yay!
Is he doing a Vegas act with Dean for a few weeks?
Hopefully using his PTO to line up a new job. If he's smart he has to know his days at Ascension are numbered.
I'm guessing they had 1 of those d-mb Connection Calls today? I haven't missed A.T. AT ALL since my outsourcing. Want nothing to do with that organization, but admit that I pop back into this forum periodically to see how the Titanic is foundering. Still have some good friends there working for the offshore outsourcing companies and hope that they can get out of there soon.
The arithmetics ….. my paycheck should jump if that’s how they’re going to do basic math 😂
