First they should admit their own mistakes

In order for anything to get better here, I think that first of all the leadership needs to admit its mistakes. That, of course, will probably never happen. Why though? Why is it so hard for them to admit their own mistakes?

The bottom line is that they care more about not looking weak and losing respect, than about taking responsibility for their mistakes as real leaders would.

True... Taking ownership of mistakes are a quality of a any employee whether they're in a leadership role or not.
