I think The Three Stooges would do a better job than the current gang of knuckleheads in charge-oooh fiber cable NYUK NYUK NYUK.
The current leadership is so fake, I don't know if they are real or in the wax museum. They might fit in with The Three Stooges.
Training Center was sold off ten years ago shortly after CTL bought Qwest.
A lot of the warehouses stay mostly unmanned. Where I work, only 2 techs report to the office. We used to have 22 techs, 1 assignment, 1 engineer, and 1 sales rep. I don't see any companies would waste large space for 1 or 2 workers.
Once again, the company buys up companies and now can’t keep the lights on! What a circus ran by a clown!
They have been getting rid of Garages and properties for a while, C.O.'s are core with the equipment and many have lots of office space and parking. Makes sense from a business standpoint to have staff in buildings that used to house dozens or more Technicians depending on size. They can utilize existing real estate, not pay to lease or sell office space to make the bottom line look better for lack of business revenue. The people that used to be in cushy office space won't like it I am sure, many of the C.O.s have not been maintained and have no water that is drinkable, and many bathrooms closed rather than maintained also, no vending machines and break areas not kept up either since nobody is there to use them much. Many have 1970's furniture in them still.
From my understanding they had way too much space for the bodies left, Mineral was the heartbeat for US West and Qwest for years with Engineering and WMC there. Wondering if the Training Center is next have not heard about that in a while, I know they lease it out regularly or did, maybe it was sold when I wasn't looking.
They appear to be getting rid of smaller offices and putting us in CO'S. Looks like they are slimming the belt some more. Like maybe for a sale?
