Anyone work in a store that has the self checkouts? I saw a picture of Lenox sq mall Macy’s with self checkout and it looked like a shoplifters paradise! Self Checkout has had their share of issues. Technical issues with the registers and customers not sure what to do. Not a simple transaction like going to a SCO in Walmart or Target. Not sure how many stores have this but I remember the rollout a few years back. Have not heard if Macys will be installing any more of these. Even the ones in Wawa are simpler to use LOL in the ones that have it.
How is self checkout working out in a store that has it?
Woodbridge NJ. Had them for almost 3 years now. 4 registers plus a regular register each is on the first and second floor near Consolidated checkout.
