Why do you say faang pays 2x more so we should all leave?
Most ibmers i know today don't stand a chance to be hired by faang, there are exceptions, but most are either too weak or too young, sometimes both. Very little top talent left really. Have you seen ibm research in Yorktown? It is like a ghost town, 90% gone. It is all gone, ibm is a 5th tier company today. It pains me to say this.
FAANG sky high comp is mostly one time RSUs at hire that vest over 4 years. Salary component is actually lower than most other big tech firms, no annual bonus, no guarantee of refresher RSUs in future.
I don’t get the allure to working at faang. There are plenty of other profitable tech companies to work at with great salaries and even less competition in the workforce.

So about half of IBM automatically qualifies in this regard, but probably don't have the skills to meet any other requirements.
You'd have to be a person of low morals to work for Amazon (how they treat their warehouse workers), Apple (how they treat their overseas manufacturing worker) or Facebook (how they promote hate speech and anti-vax speech).
Money doesn't cover their sins.
