Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Any other teams have this problem?

With the vaxx mandate deadline quickly approaching some of the unvaxxed people on my team have been noticeably sad. I was talking to one the other day before a meeting and I could tell by the way he kept sniffling and the quivering in his voice that he had just been crying. I asked if there was anything I could do and he just screamed back at me about how Ford was “takin his freedums” or something. I’m worried about him, I know he’s been in a bit of a funk ever since he found out the previous president #45 supports the vaccine. I don’t want him to lose his job over this, but these are the rules and if he doesn’t want to follow them I know he’s going to end up unemployed. He keeps telling me about how there’s so many other “better” jobs out there and how he can’t wait to leave Ford but it’s obvious he knows this isn’t true. I was hoping the holidays would help cheer him up, but when I texted him the other day he just responded with some mumbo jumbo about gingerbread cookies being men and something about some Brandon? Idk I’m worried about him, anybody know how I could help?

"Boosters help stop the spread and hospital visits more than any other option. The data is proven." Really? What data? No, the shots don't stop spread- the CDC doesn't even claim that anymore. Considering millions of young people already had Covid with no issues that comment is absurd. Why would they need to ameliorate a miniscule risk? Not to mention they know very little about Omicron at this point, other than other nations have found it to be a mild illness. At some point the mandates need to stop. Get your boosters that don't provide immunity, just protect against serious illness, for increasingly weaker variants, because omg - its covid.

@2ujc, perfect sarcasm when you can't tell if they're serious or not. :-)

I think that, in order to save all of us from this horrible disease that has only a 99% survival rate Ford should go bankrupt so none of the employees will be at risk due to work. And the goal of full equality and equity is met by kicking the entire workforce to the curb.

Boosters help stop the spread and hospital visits more than any other option. The data is proven. Cities across the US are directing residents to get boosted, Michigan will follow as it is the right thing to do.

We as a company will only get through the omicron surge with a mandatory booster mandate. How in the world will we ever get to return working in person in the office without it? It is obvious the Ford vaccine mandate alone has not and will not keep all of us safe enough.

Additional company action is required immediately.

Blame games on people out of the office don't work at Ford anymore. Its all the "what have you done for me lately" mentality, in the now. The antivaxxer will be out of the picture and forgotten. The provaxxer will be left holding the ball.

@xhv "I have sat on for a while now that should (if I time it just right) bloww up when people like you have to cover for me for 30 days when I'm on my vax vacation. Enjoy."

Actually, we plan on blaming all problems on people who are suspended for 30 days ;-)

For all you l0ser antivaxxers posting 'Facebook' science about vaccines, please provide links and facts to back-up your Dunning Kruger 'expertise' so I can educate myself too.

Don't tell me - you haven't updated your information since Biden, Fauci, and company said that the vaccines would prevent infection and transmission last June. Why else would you be so obsessed? Then again, the Ford management that is enforcing an obsolete mandate policy is similarly clueless.

I'm not trying to be mean to you but you should really do some self-examination to understand where these sorts of fantasies come from. Something in you needs to invent lies so it can feel a certain way about itself. You should uncover what that is and extirpate it. The world is not made better by lies.
