Anonymous is right about the scumbags running FBT. In addition to hitting on the young ladies, they're also incompetent. Our brilliant tech leaders are still on the mainframe. But the ML mafia just protects themselves. Their bios have pictures of them, wives, and kids...yet they're boning fellow employees...and sometimes HR has had to split them up. If you can get VBO again, take it!

I remember a long time ago, I applied for a role and never heard back from HR rep after the initial screening. Turns out she offed herself.
I'm a white man, who worked hard, and had a long successful career at Fidelity. When I got older I was bought out, happily. This wasn't a surprise. I knew it was coming. I don't agree that white men get a raw deal at Fidelity, or in this country in general.
Don’t trust HR. Also, don’t trust your leadership team. They really don’t care about you. Nobody is going to help you if you are a tenured white male. Don’t try to get another lateral job. If u do, you’ll be the first one out the door in the new org. No matter how many share you have received or how many times you went to party at the presidents club events. Scumbags...like those who run FBT are just looking to hook up with the young college girls. Right MZ? And RD? You’ll get yours hopefully.
Yeah being ghosted by your own company for a lateral job move to meet their career vitality request is not a good feeling.
I too have applied for several jobs .... but there is never an acknowledgement. No one even tells you that they will not be talking to you. If you are fortunate enough that they even talk to you, good luck getting an offer. I've seen many wait for 2-3 months before a decision is made. Often not in their favor. Mobility, meritocracy are all just words...no one knows what they really mean at Fidelity. It's who you know. Period.
Last 2 jobs I applied for no response from anyone including HR. Well qualified for both and not a word.
If I’m too old say so but at least an acknowledgment of application for an internal candidate would be nice. I realize I’m not the “target candidate “ but come on.
Justifiably, no one will provide honest feedback to HR, lest they want to be on the next list for cuts. There is no "real" anonymity when providing feedback, including the Chairman's Line.
Everyone has a survey/feedback system in place. Except for HR. I'd start there ... you'll get plenty of feedback on how to better communicate. Among other things. Better communication is the least of our problems. The biggest rot is at the top 2 levels of people under Abby.
Here’s an idea. Let’s create specialized support groups for everyone! Every walk of life. Let’s identify who in the world deserves to be given extra special treatment simply based on Woke DI views. You know what. Everyone gets a group....except who? What is The white male Alex Ding ding. You are correct Sir.
open up a ticket.
Right now, it's severely lacking. And don't even get me started on transparency.
