I heard a rumor from a colleague at Emmott Rd that it’s going to close soon. I haven’t seen any jobs posted for that site internally. Is it a sinking ship?

Probably the managers here are always lying to your face. We used to do good work until they hired too many fresh out of college engineers and fired the old guys with actual experience. You can’t tell young engineers things done always work in the real world the way they do on paper.
