India a land that has a great education system and exported how many STEM talent to the Us, similar to Taiwan and China.

Let’s see both Taiwan and China have huge tech industry and India is a third wiles country here.

Yup just because India throws billions wh--e Pat will happily roll onto his back and open up, anybody that got a billions, Pat will line up all them concrete trucks. Now what technology he will build will be interesting, 45nm that is where the world has shortage, 4nm Intel doesn’t have any. 20A, seriously, how many companies can afford it or use it, or trust to even consider Intel Foundry (Apple, Nvidia, Qualcomm, AMD)

Pat is open for business

A fab in India is pie in the sky, more desperation from Pat to ask Congress for free money. India is notorious anti-manufacturing for foreign companies, and it will take years to grease all the politicians' hands to actually get approval for this fab.

How desperate is Intel, they are the only big semiconductor company with shrinking revenue, they had almost 78 billion revenu and in the biggest bo-m and semiconductor shortage they failed to bring technology and products out on time while every other company grew revenues in the same capacity constrained environment.

Now they go to India, nuf said what a $hit show is Intel

Intel has become a third-world company. Makes perfect sense to ramp up operations and hiring in third-world countries at the expense of better options.

The fab in India is a dead on arrival strategy. The country is strapped for power, water and resources to support any fab.
