HR is a joke

I think its broken down into 3 main parts.
- Those who wanted to get it anyway and are happy.
- Those who didn’t but did it to keep their jobs and have resentment.
- Those who didn’t but did it to keep their jobs and have resentment and plan on leaving or have already left.
Well done Citi, job well done. Kudos across the board. You got what you wanted, the people are in line with your way of thinking and have conformed with your mandate.
True visionaries and trail blazers.
So who here is now on unpaid leave for refusing to get vaccinated?
Y’all talk a good game… did you leave Citi?
I think you meant desperate, not disparate.
It’s not necessarily d-mb but rather disparate to keep your job. Some people have family to provide for, so out of fear, comply with Citi mandate so that they don’t terminate you.
Some feel like Citi had no issue of exploiting this or leveraging this to to make you step in line.
Your fault! You're going to suffer because of your d-mb decision to take it. Don't feel sorry for you
Whatever it takes to make you step in line with what Citi wants. It’s not enough though to step in line with what Citi wants but you need also advocate that you’re “A-OK with what Citi is doing” verbally. Make sure you’re seen doing it too, it doesn’t count unless you’re seen.
Imagine being brainwashed into taking experimental vaccine and waiting for $200 but being okay that it likely will cause you health issues down the road…if it doesn’t ki-l you…I know too many in my personal life with sudden health issues and they took the vax
Enter stage left…….freedom of choice. Freedom to take it or freedom to not take it and move on.
The only incentive (or threat) you should need to get vaccinated is the benefit of not ending up hospitalized or dead from COVID.
Excellent point. Lets see….bribed to take the vaccine or threatened to take it…..oh wait….the company did both.
So an hourly life is worth more than mine? Seems racist and classist to me.
It was very clear that is was for non-exempt employees ( which means hourly, not salaried). Was right up front, not in any fine print.
And if you really need to be bribed in order to get vaccinated, pretty friggin sad.
Ah….nothing like manipulating the fine print to flim flam the masses.
Yea I was pi---d about that too but apparently only hourly employees will receive the $200. If you’re hourly you’ll get it soon if your salaried forget about it.
